Around five years ago, when I first saw this picture,
I thought of Vietnam and Art Nouveau.
Though unrelated, the two words clearly came to mind.
And I haven’t ever been to Vietnam..
The Art Nouveau style disappeared in 1910
as function and sociality became increasingly important.
However, five years later in 1915,
with the imagination that Art Nouveau was reborn in Vietnam,
“ANUVAE” begins, in a more concise and new way.
